but could be facing a new recall threat. one supervisor who voted to reinstate the embattled sheriff, jane kim, told the "chronicle" she would support a recall effort against mirkarimi. she say she voted out of concern it would set a precedent about what constitutes official misconduct. meantime san francisco's d.a. is asking mirkarimi to recuse himself from certain cases. >> we're questioning his ability to deal with domestic violence matters during the period of time where he is on probation for committing the same type of crime. >> seven members of the 11 board members voted to remove mirkarimi. but he needed nine votes. mirkarimi pleaded guilty in march to misdemeanor false imprisonment stemming from an argument before he took office that left his wife's arm bruised. >>> about 20 protestors are in hot water after clashing with police in san francisco. the protests began yesterday afternoon as a group called "homes not jails" marched down 18th street and broke in a vacant building on castro street. police eventually stormed the building and arrested the people inside. the protests he co
